Brisbane CBD

Brisbane, is undergoing a remarkable transformation, and I am immensely proud to call this vibrant city my home. Over the past few decades, Brisbane has evolved into a dynamic  sprawling metropolis, The city’s commitment to infrastructure development, evident in projects like the Brisbane Metro and Cross River Rail, has significantly improved connectivity and liveability.
 
With the upcoming 2032 Olympics on the horizon,Brisbane’s future is even more exciting, promising further development and global recognition. Witnessing and being part of this city’s journey by watching it growing from the skies above as have spent many hours  filming and photographing from the skies above over the years fills me with a sense of pride and joy.

Aerial Filming – Cineshot 6 Axis Gyro Stabilised Camera System

We are so pleased to announce our recent acquisition of the brand new @cineshotsystems 6 axis gyrostabilised aerial camera system.
This system was developed by John Coyle and his team of engineers in Queenstown, New Zealand. As you may know John Coyle developed the successful Cineflex and Shotover camera systems.  His latest design has the ability to physically change size to integrate nearly any camera and lens combination such as the

  • Arri Mini LF & Arri Mini, Alexa 35,
  • RED Komodo X, Komodo, Raptor, Helium, Monstro,
  • Venice 2
  • Canon 30-300 Canon 14.5-60
  • Canon 50-1000
  • Angenineux 24-290 & Angenieux 28-320, Ultra 12x
  • Cabrio 25-300
  • Canon 25-250
  • Fujinon Premista series.

The team at Cineshot have certainly put an amazing system together and we can’t wait to shoot some amazing footage with this new system.

Aerial Filming – Love is in the Air Netflix Movie

Love is in the Air – Netflix 

Last year, we had the privilege of being approached to film the Air to Air components of a new Australian-produced movie for Netflix. This production, featuring the renowned Australian star Delta Goodrum, unfolded amidst the picturesque landscapes of the Whitsundays.

For these Air to Air sequences, we employed our Cineflex Elite Nose-mounted gimbal, paired with the Red Helium 8k camera and Canon Cine 30-300mm Lens. While drones were also utilized during the production, the value of utilizing the helicopter and gimbal for the Air to Air segments and backplates was evident. This decision added an extra layer of depth to the film, contributing to the creation of stunning imagery that enhanced the overall cinematic experience.
